Steve Karmen – ‘The King of Jingles’
Steve created many famous jingles like ‘I love New York’ and the jingle for Wrigley Spearmint Gum / Carry The Big Fresh Flavor in 1973. He was famous amongst many of the other creators of jingle because he was the only one who received royalties every time his jingles were played on TV or on the radio, while others were only paid a flat price.
